A Week Full Of Fun // This Week We…
Hi, how ya doing? It’s been a pretty good week, Minnie has been amused for most of it and even managed to avoid a nap on one day this week, which she’s not up until this week been able to achieve no matter how hard she’s tried. This week has been a week full of fun!
A Week Full Of Fun
During The Week;
Monday we went to my mums, saw my nan and the 5 dogs that are currently living at hers. (2 are actually hers!) Minnie absolutely loved, Ozzy, a big black labrador. She’s such an animal lover, she’s always looking to give them love and kisses which absolutely melts my heart. She also when we go to mums and it’s the holidays, play with Eli my youngest brother. She absolutely adores playing with other children too. I took her in the street this week and there were children playing in the street and she waved and shouted hi at them. I honestly cannot wait to get her into the nursery because I know she’s going to love it.
Tuesday was a day at home and I spent Monday evening prepping some activities for us to get up to over the duration of the week, the glittery salt dough being one of them, and that’s what we spent the most of Tuesday playing with. She absolutely adored playing with it, ripping it up and trying to stick pom poms in it. This was also the day that she decided that no nap was needed and that it was playing constantly for the whole day. It’s safe to say I was thrilled and knackered myself when her bedtime rolled around.
We were back at mums on Wednesday, we like to go see mum twice a week, it gets us out of the house and is good for all parties involved because I’m sure we all get as bored and down in the dumps as each other. Minnie and Eli spent most of the day playing with some added squabbles put in there this time.
Minnie went to my dads on Thursday, she loves going there. I had planned with my spare time to do a ton of blog prep but honestly, I really struggled to get any kind of brain activity going at all and found myself watching The Kissing Booth 3 and trying to find inspiration for my blog work on the internet somewhere. The creative struggle was cut short though when I eventually went to my dads to join them for dinner.
Stewart’s mum privately booked a swimming pool out on Friday, it was literally in a person’s back garden, but we got to take the two toddlers swimming, which was Minnie’s first experience in a big swimming pool, I was fully expecting her to hate it but actually, she loved it and that made me so happy because taking her swimming is something I want to do a lot more of.
Over the weekend;
We were pretty busy over the weekend, Saturday we took a trip to see my mum and nan which resulted in us taking an impromptu trip to Retford to go Charity shop surfing. After that we had to make a dash back home, Stewart had an opticians appointment to pick up his new specs, but after he’d done that we took a trip to Tesco to do the dreaded weekly shop. I absolutely hate it. It didn’t help either that Minnie had been an absolute horror all day and Saturday was one of those days when you cannot wait for your little sproggling to go to bed.
Sunday was much more chilled if you like. We took Minnie to the west common where we got to see all the beautiful horses on there, We didn’t stay in the field too long because Stewart got scared and felt more comfortable on the other side of the fence, it was also quite chilly so we decided to take a mooch to the park that is situated across the road so Minnie could get some blood pumping around her body. She loves playing in play parks and I like having a chill time. After that, we went to grab some fish and chips whilst Minnie napped, took lunch home and then we got on with clearing out some of our loft.
What did you get up to this week and what are your plans for next?
